The church is the site of California impressionist E. Charlton Fortune's first liturgical commission more than 80 years ago. The play looks back over the career of Fortune, considered one of California's greatest artists. The MPC Theatre Company auditions for Kander and Ebb's classic musical "Cabaret." 6:30-9:30p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, and 10a.m.-2p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Carmel Performing Arts Center at Carmel High School (Note: this is not a collaborative production between CUSD and MPC Theatre). PacRep announces open auditions for communitysingers, dancers, and actors for PacRep's 2012 season musicals, "Fiddler on the Roof," "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" and "Spamalot."
